Fashion at Dusk and The Sky-deck...... 

I am a lover of open-sky roof top expanses when it comes to spending a good, quality evening pondering on various contents for my Blog while visualizing the sun setting at the horizon. For this current outfit shoot I chose Deck 88, The Astor Hotel, Kolkata's beautifully curated colonist-urban roof top deck. Nestled in the heart of the city, The Astor is a luxe hotel and is one of the most sought after. The ambiance and the British-Colonial architecture of Deck 88, served as the most apt canvas for my portrait shots. The hotel's color schemes of the 100 year old colonist palette and the oblivion created by the half-light dusk made an empowering effect to my photo-shoot. The PR Team was extremely encouraging and supportive. I was happy and elated to have had received some impact worthy pictures for my Blog and all of these happened while I could see the City Of Joy from the top.  

Coming to the ensemble of the moment, I am an ardent solace seeker from denims and with the high waited ones, I feel highly inclined on them. Since it accentuates my bodily proportions and is gonna help you hide the previous night's yummy-tummy-full-of-biriany. Yes, all you lovely ladies out there, this season embrace high wasted denims in all colors and patterns. I have teamed up my favorite pair of denims with a chic and simple halter top. Well let me mention here, BK Market in Kolkata has some really cool tops and shirts to offer. My denims are from Forever 21 and my heels are from Truffle Collection. 

 

Blogging lets me roam around and hunt for exquisite locations to click pictures. Deck 88 was one such awe-inspiring site. While the wind gushes around, the opulence of luxury and comforts of the deck, lets you have fun and be your best. The hospitality was on point too. Coming back to my outfit deliberations, I chose to keep the color schemes minimalistic. White resonates comfort and elegance at the same time. This season calls for some knitted tops paired with denims and trousers. 

So while I sipped on my blue lagoon, I felt extremely comfortable in what I wore. This attire screams comforts for me (Keeping my heels aside if I have to hit the dance floor....!!!!).... 

Deck 88 with its royalty is surely gonna get me keep coming back here.....................
